Through the accreditation process, professional development activities, and consultations with the industry, ISOCCS strives to continue to: improve education, credentialing and supervision of supervisors, encourage publications on current issues, relevant research, proven practices, ethical standards and conversations on related supervision issues. People engaged in the academic preparation of supervisors will find leadership through ISOCCS.

ISOCCS is planning to provide members and associates with a range of BENEFITS, including but limited to:

  • Monthly opportunities for networking
  • Conferences/Seminars
  • Professional development workshops
  • Newsletter, research bulletin, website and email interchange to facilitate communication between supervisors.

Supervisors and their educators encounter situations which challenge the help given by general ethical standards of the profession at large. These situations require more specific guidelines that provide appropriate guidance in every day supervision practice.

The CODE OF ETHICS, is an initial guideline for supervisors in their supervision practice, which shall be formally reviewed on an annual basis in collaboration with the heads of professional bodies, their members, and peer supervisors.

The STANDARDS, are an attempt to identify the core competencies of supervisors. This includes areas that characterize and effective supervisor in relation to their knowledge, competencies, and personal traits, as consistently identified in supervision research and literature.

If you are interested in JOINING THE SOCIETY there are 3-membership types:

  • Associate Membership
  • Professional Membership
  • Clinical Membership
